Are you a Figma expert ready to revolutionize the way our Services designers work This role goes beyond creating a design system from scratch; it is a hands-on, problem-solving position dedicated to enhancing Figma as a seamless and powerful tool for daily use. At Backbase, we play a pivotal role in a global transformation, catering to financial institutions worldwide. Our skilled Services designers are instrumental in this endeavor, crafting and tailoring our technology to suit each client's individual requirements with precision. As a vital part of the team, you will operate within the Design Ops team, utilizing your advanced technical expertise to review files, address issues, and develop new, tailored solutions that empower our teams to work more efficiently and accurately. This presents a unique opportunity to streamline our workflow and significantly enhance the delivery of quality designs. You will possess an in-depth understanding of our design libraries and play a key role in preparing and initiating projects to ensure a seamless start with new clients. Being the primary contact for our Services designers, you will maintain a backlog of tasks, conducting thorough investigations, active listening, and research to identify areas where our workflows can be enhanced. With more than 70 product designers and researchers across the organization, we seek a valuable addition to our Design team who brings critical thinking, creativity, passion, and experience to the table. To excel in this role, we believe you should have: - Proficiency in advanced Figma skills, encompassing design libraries, library management, token architecture, components, variables, and modes, theming and styling, scripting/writing plugins, automation, and forward-thinking AI practices. - Competency in Jira and backlog planning. - Knowledge of front-end coding languages, web, iOS, and Android platforms. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Meticulous attention to detail, with a mid/senior level focus on problem-solving. - Audit designs for alignment with their product counterparts. - Interpret AI test automation results, report bugs, and provide recommendations for resolving issues. - Bug filing as necessary. - Develop solutions tailored to the needs of Service Designers. - Strive to deliver more precise and user-friendly files. - Address bugs promptly. - Identify Figma bugs and misuse of components in files before they impact projects. - Audit files against the Figma Playbook to ensure consistency in setup. - Manage Figma bugs from Services designers effectively, triage them, prevent duplicates, and ensure proper follow-up.,
