As a seasoned designer passionate about creating impactful, scalable, and AI-enhanced digital experiences, you have the opportunity to join the User Experience Design team at 7EDGE. In this role, you will play a leading part in elevating product quality, design culture, and team maturity within the organization. 7EDGE, a Digital Product Engineering Company based in Bengaluru, India, specializes in crafting modern applications with cloud-native services, focusing on microservices and serverless architecture for enterprises and startups globally. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct user and stakeholder research to identify product requirements, usability challenges, and business goals. - Translate research insights into wireframes, user flows, information architecture, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma and Miro. - Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across multiple projects and teams. - Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, QA, and other designers to ensure the successful implementation of the design vision. - Present design concepts, user journeys, and solutions to clients and internal stakeholders, advocating for user-centered approaches. - Mentor and support UX designers, helping them grow their skills and contribute to project success. - Stay informed about the latest UX trends, including AI-driven personalization, conversational interfaces, and ethical design practices. - Apply and advocate for accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles. **Basic Qualifications:** - B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or a bachelor's/MCA/higher degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in user experience design, working across diverse industries or digital products. - Proven ability to translate user and business problems into actionable design strategies. - Demonstrated proficiency in interaction design, information architecture, and usability best practices. - Strong hands-on expertise with Figma and Miro/Figjam, including experience working in collaborative design environments. - Ability to communicate design decisions with clarity, presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, including clients. - Solid experience in leading design reviews, critiques, and feedback loops within design teams or cross-functional settings. - Experience applying accessibility and inclusive design principles (WCAG compliance) in real-world product designs. - Familiarity with Agile workflows and ability to adapt design approaches to iterative delivery cycles. - A growth-oriented mindset, with a history of mentoring or guiding peers or junior designers. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to evaluate technical feasibility. - Exposure to AI-enhanced UX design, including generative design tools, personalization, or conversational interfaces. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and basic project/task management. - UX certification from a recognized institution or platform. - Prior experience mentoring or guiding junior designers. - Experience in multi-platform design (responsive web, mobile apps).
