Experience Required: 3 to 5 Years Qualifica on Required: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Chemical Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Powder Coa ng Engineer with exper se in the 7-Tank Pre-Treatment Process. The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing the full powder coating line, including surface preparation, coa ng applica on, curing, quality inspec on, and team management. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth opera ons, adherence to quality standards, and efficient manpower u liza on. Key Responsibili es: • Manage & oversee the en re powder coa ng Sec on, including the 7-tank pre-treatment process. • Ensure surface prepara on is done as per standards (degreasing, de-rus ng, phospha ng, etc.). • Monitor and maintain bath concentra ons, temperature, and ming for each tank to ensure effec veness. • Supervise powder coa ng applica on, oven curing, and final inspec on processes. • Lead and coordinate a team of 15 operators and technicians on shi basis. • Maintain and update process parameters, SOPs, and work instruc ons for coa ng opera ons. • Coordinate with the QA department to ensure coated parts meet quality standards (adhesion, thickness, finish, etc.). • Conduct regular prevenve maintenance checks on powder coa ng equipment and booths. • Implement and monitor 5S, Kaizen, and other lean manufacturing prac ces on the shop floor. • Manage inventory of chemicals, powder material, and consumables required for coa ng. • Prepare and submit daily produc on reports, rejec on analysis, and correc ve ac ons. • Ensure strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards in the powder coa ng area. • Provide training and support to junior staff for skill development and process adherence. Key Skills Required: • In-depth knowledge of 7-tank pre-treatment and powder coa ng processes. • Experience in team management and shop floor supervision. • Knowledge of chemical handling, oven temperature control etc. • Ability to troubleshoot process issues and take immediate . . • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, & CQi9 etc is preferred.
