Job Title: Senior User Experience Designer Job Type: Contract About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior User Experience Designer with over 10 years of professional experience, including strong proficiency in Figma and a solid understanding of eCommerce and retail platforms. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-centered experiences that drive engagement and conversions on our eCommerce platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and visual designers, to bring our design vision to life. Responsibilities: Design Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of UX/UI designers in developing world-class user experiences for our eCommerce platform. User Research & Insights: Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gain insights into user behavior, pain points, and preferences, especially in the context of retail and eCommerce. Design Strategy: Develop and implement design strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring an optimal and seamless user journey for customers across digital touchpoints. Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing design. User-Centered Design: Apply user-centered design principles to all stages of the product development cycle, from ideation to implementation. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the designs are technically feasible and meet the user needs. Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system that ensures consistency and scalability across multiple digital platforms. UX/UI Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI design trends and tools (especially Figma) and implement best practices for accessibility and responsive design. Stakeholder Communication: Present design concepts and solutions to key stakeholders, advocating for user-centered design decisions. Performance Tracking: Analyze user feedback, usability metrics, and KPIs to continuously improve the user experience. Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on UX design experience Expertise in Figma: Advanced proficiency in Figma, including collaborative design, prototyping, and handoff features. eCommerce/retail experience: A strong background in designing for eCommerce or retail platforms with an understanding of conversion optimization, product flows, and user journeys. Design Process: Expertise in all stages of the design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and user testing. Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating your UX design process, solutions, and results, particularly on eCommerce and retail-related projects. Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience presenting design concepts to stakeholders and working in agile teams. Tools & Techniques: Solid experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, and wireframing tools. Research Skills: Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing user feedback to inform design decisions. Show more Show less
