Over time, it has evolved into a multi-brand house with Pink Fort – a modern Indian wear brand reimagining traditional clothing for today’s woman. Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Textile Designer with experience in women's western wear to join our in-house design team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of textile design principles, excellent aesthetic sensibilities, and the ability to create market-relevant prints and patterns aligned with the brand’s design language. Key Responsibilities: - Develop original, trend-driven textile prints, patterns, and surface designs specifically for women’s western wear. - Conduct market research and stay updated with the latest trends, color forecasts, and innovations in textile design. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and production to bring designs to life. - Research, identify, and source suitable fabrics and materials for various design projects. - Evaluate fabric quality, durability, and sustainability to ensure high product standards. - Utilize design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create accurate design specifications. - Apply knowledge of printing, dyeing, and weaving techniques to optimize designs for production. - Address production-related challenges and ensure feasibility of designs in large-scale manufacturing. - Maintain organized records of design concepts, specifications, and material selections. - Prepare design presentations and effectively communicate concepts to internal teams and stakeholders. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or an equivalent institution. - 5-7 years of professional experience as a Textile Designer, preferably in the western wear segment. - Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant design tools. - Solid understanding of textile construction, fabric behavior, and production processes. - Strong eye for color, pattern, texture, and emerging fashion trends. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - A current, category-specific portfolio demonstrating textile designs developed for women’s western clothing is mandatory.
