Senior Textile Designer

Job description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Textile Designer to join our design team in a clothing and fabric manufacturing firm. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in creating innovative textile designs, patterns, and prints while ensuring alignment with market trends and brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop original textile designs, patterns, and prints for fabrics used in clothing and home textiles.
• Collaborate with product development, production, and marketing teams to conceptualize seasonal collections.
• Research and analyze current fashion trends, colors, textures, and patterns to create fresh and market-relevant designs.
• Create digital and hand-drawn sketches and translate them into production-ready artworks.
• Modify existing designs based on feedback and production requirements.
• Select appropriate color palettes and fabric types to align with design concepts and production specifications.
• Ensure accurate and precise detailing in all design layouts for printing and weaving.
• Coordinate with the production team to review fabric samples and ensure that the final output matches design specifications.
• Maintain a portfolio of designs, including samples, swatches, and digital files.
• Stay updated on new textile design techniques, software, and industry trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in textile design for clothing and fabrics.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and CAD software.
• Strong artistic and creative skills with an eye for color, pattern, and texture.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of various fabric types, printing techniques, and textile manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
