Job Summary:

Newgen Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze functional and business requirements related to

  Corporate Loan modules

  implemented on

  Newgen platforms

  (e.g., OmniFlow, OmniDocs).
• Design and execute

  manual and automated test cases

  for loan origination, approval workflows, and document management.
• Perform

  functional

  ,

  integration

  ,

  regression

  , and

  UAT testing

  .
• Identify and report defects using tools like

  JIRA

  ,

  HP ALM

  , or similar.
• Conduct

  data validation

  using SQL and ensure compliance with business rules.
• Support

  release testing

  and provide sign-off for production deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 1–2 years in

  Newgen platform testing

  .
• Strong understanding of

  Corporate Loan lifecycle

  and related business processes.
• Experience with

  Newgen BPM/ECM tools

  such as

  OmniDocs

  ,

  OmniFlow

  , or custom Newgen solutions.
• Familiarity with

  SQL

  for backend validation.
• Experience with

  test management tools

  (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to

  Newgen Trade Finance or Lending Suite

  .
• Experience in

  API testing

  using Postman or SoapUI.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
