We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer – Trade Finance with strong domain knowledge in Trade Finance systems and hands-on experience with Finastra trade products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, ensuring high-quality delivery of trade finance applications, and working closely with business and technology teams. Key Responsibilities: • Understand business requirements and functional specifications for Trade Finance modules including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Collections, and Open Account. • Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and technical requirements. • Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and UAT testing. • Validate end-to-end trade finance workflows such as issuance, amendment, settlement, and document presentation. • Execute test cases for Finastra trade products (e.g., TI Plus, Fusion Trade Innovation or Trade Innovation). • Participate in defect management, including logging, tracking, retesting, and closure using tools like JIRA/ALM. • Perform API testing using Postman/Swagger and validate backend data using SQL queries. • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues. • Maintain traceability matrix and ensure proper test coverage. • Support UAT cycles and production validation (smoke/sanity checks). • Contribute to test process improvements and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must-Have: • 6–8 years of experience in software testing, preferably in banking or financial services. • Strong domain knowledge in Trade Finance: • Import/Export Letters of Credit (LC) • Standby LC (SBLC) • Bank Guarantees (BG) • Documentary Collections (DC) • Hands-on experience with Finastra trade products (Fusion Trade Innovation / TI+ / Trade Innovation). • Strong understanding of testing methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, V-Model. • Experience in test design techniques
