Job Title: Senior QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) Location: Gurugram, Haryana (Onsite) Experience: 7+ Years Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with extensive experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our web and backend systems through comprehensive test planning, execution, and automation practices. Key Responsibilities: Manual Testing: Design, write, and execute detailed test plans and test cases. Conduct regression, system, and exploratory testing. Collaborate with development teams to understand features and technical implementation. Automation Testing: Develop and maintain JavaScript-based automation test scripts and frameworks. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Continuously improve automation coverage and test reliability. API Testing: Validate RESTful APIs using Postman and JMeter. Perform functional and performance testing of APIs. Ensure accurate request/response formats and error handling. SQL & Backend Testing: Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing. Verify data integrity across different systems and platforms. Problem Solving: Analyze complex system behavior, logs, and data to identify and troubleshoot issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution and product improvements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance (manual and automation). Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript-based test automation. Proficient in API testing tools like Postman and performance tools like JMeter. Solid understanding of SQL and backend data validation. Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
