This role primarily involves Automated Testing & system integration testing of MANO which is based on Kubernetes architecture using Manual and Automation testing and qualifying the MANO product for carrier grade deployments. As a member of the ADVA MANO SIT team, you will perform Integration testing, develop test automation and perform Automated testing of MANO features and integration aspects for use in large scale carrier-class environments. ADVA MANO is a feature rich, highly scalable System deployed by Tier-1 ISPs supporting thousands of deployments. You will be an integral member of a fast paced, Agile development team working with leading Cloud and Edge technologies. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to QA process Quality of test plan (coverage, effectiveness) and test execution Ensure adherence to DoD Understand PLM requirements and participate in refining PIs First level of product support for external teams Basic Qualifications: Bachelor / master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, or B Tech/BE/MTECH/MS in ECE or in CSE equivalent education required. At least 4-8 years of active experience. Experience in Kubernetes, Containers and microservices Knowledge. Automation Experience of Robot Framework using REST and GUI Automation (Selenium), Python Automation . Experience in On-prem Cloud technologies like VMware, OpenStack Proficiency with Functional Testing & Integration Testing High energy contributor with excellent team skills Preferred Qualifications: Public Cloud knowledge AWS or Azure will be a Plus Experience with NFV management or network management systems Experience using Agile development methodologies. Good to have SNMP, Netconf, WAN Networking Concepts, Micro service Architecture, Scale Testing, Shell scripting Success Criteria: Good self-organization “Self-starter, get things done” mindset.
