Job Overview: The candidate will lead the development and management of assurance product across multiple domains in our telecom network. This role will focus on creating solutions that monitor, analyze, and optimize performance across all network domainscore, transport, access, and service layers—ensuring end-to-end service quality, reliability, and customer experience. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance network performance and minimize service disruptions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cross-Domain Assurance Product Development: Lead the design and development of assurance products that span across multiple telecom network domains, including core networks, access networks, transport networks, and service layers. Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for end-to-end assurance solutions that provide visibility and monitoring across all network domains (e.g., 4G/5G, IP/MPLS, SD-WAN, optical, transport, etc.). Work closely with network operations, NOC operations, other product teams to gather requirements and deliver products that address cross-domain monitoring, fault detection, and performance optimization. 2. Unified Monitoring & Fault Management: Develop assurance solutions that provide a unified view of the network performance across multiple domains, enabling proactive fault management, root cause analysis, and automated remediation. Ensure the product supports multi-domain monitoring (e.g., backhaul, radio access network, core, cloud, and IT systems) to provide end-to-end service health visibility. Implement cross-domain KPIs, SLAs, and metrics that enable comprehensive tracking of service delivery, fault detection, and network performance. Define automated troubleshooting and performance optimization strategies that span across multiple domains to reduce service disruptions and ensure high-quality service delivery. Leverage AI and machine learning to predict and prevent potential network failures by analyzing trends and patterns across cross-domain data. 3. Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on emerging technologies, industry standards, and trends related to cross-domain network assurance, such as 5G, SD-WAN, virtualized networks, and cloud-native solutions. Analyze competitor products and solutions to identify gaps and opportunities for differentiation in the cross-domain assurance market. Keep track of innovations in automation, machine learning, and AI that can be leveraged for multi-domain network performance monitoring and troubleshooting. 4. Product Roadmap & Prioritization: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for cross-domain assurance solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and evolving network technologies. Lead product iterations, ensuring timely delivery of product updates and enhancements across multiple domains. 5. Product Testing & Validation: Lead testing initiatives, including pilot programs, proof of concepts (PoCs), and beta testing, to validate the product across multiple network domains. Collaborate with network engineers and QA teams to ensure the assurance product meets functional, performance, and scalability requirements for cross-domain visibility. Ensure the product supports seamless integration with existing network management platforms and tools used across different domains. 6. Post-launch Support & Continuous Improvement: Monitor the product's effectiveness and performance post-launch, gathering insights and feedback to inform future enhancements. Lead initiatives for continuous product improvement by analyzing customer usage patterns and market feedback. Ensure that the product evolves in response to new network technologies, regulatory requirements, and customer demands. 7. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, product specifications, release notes, and best practices for cross-domain assurance products. Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior management and other stakeholders, including key metrics, product adoption rates, and roadmap progress. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree or equivalent is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in telecom product management or multi-domain network assurance. Proven experience in managing assurance products that span multiple network domains (core, access, transport, service layers). In-depth knowledge of telecom network technologies preferably in transport (IP/MPLS, SD-WAN, fiber, optical etc.) and cross-domain service management. Familiarity with emerging telecom technologies, including SD-WAN, network virtualization, and 5G, as they pertain to cross-domain assurance. Proficient in using network management tools, performance monitoring platforms, and analytics platforms.
