Senior Sales Executive – Pharmaceuticals

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our pharmaceutical sales team. The role involves promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, distributors, and institutions while ensuring strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets in the assigned territory.
  • Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to doctors, hospitals, clinics, chemists, and distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers to increase product awareness and drive prescriptions.
  • Identify new business opportunities, expand customer base, and penetrate untapped markets.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Support the training and development of junior sales executives/medical representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and business development activities.
  • Represent the company at conferences, medical camps, CME programs, and promotional events.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, therapeutic segments, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Leadership qualities to guide and mentor junior team members.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 years in a senior/executive role.
  • Existing network of doctors, hospitals, and distributors will be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Solan, Himachal Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • B2B sales: 3 years (Preferred)
  • 5years: 2 years (Required)

Language:

  • Hindi (Preferred)
  • English (Preferred)
