Senior Technical Project Manager

About the Role

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring product delivery to our customers and business. You will work with all stakeholders involved in the delivery of software products, including Senior Management, Product, UX, Engineering, Cloud Operations, and more. Working in a fast-paced and agile environment, you will be responsible for the iterative delivery of value, with continuous feedback from customers and our business partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of multi-functional teams and proactively manage dependencies with a singular focus.
• Manages work-in-progress closely (WIP) and continuously mitigate impediments to flow; eliminate external blockers and manage internal roadblocks.
• Reporting metrics and status reports that demonstrate the overall health of the project, communicating project status, issues, and action item tracking.
• Track daily progress, providing insight using burndowns and other tooling.
• Keeping senior management and key stakeholders informed of project status and escalating issues when they impact timeline, scope, quality, or budget.
• Ensuring priorities are clear, and visible to all team members, all the time.
• Drives continuous improvement across the teams daily, facilitating retrospectives and ensuring the bar is always being raised.
• Supports the VP of Product Planning and TPM to shape the ways of working for the team.
• Mentors junior members of the team.
• Responsible for product delivery and the flow of value to our customers and the business.
• Supports rolling roadmap planning, facilitating estimation, resource planning, budgeting, and change management in a lean model.
• Facilitate ceremonies, stand-ups, walk the wall, project updates to ensure work is visible, managed and coordinated.
• Will be responsible for driving change within Product R&D in collaboration with other senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related fields or demonstratable relevant work experience.
• 15+ years’ experience in a product or project delivery role with at least 10+ years in Technical Project/Program Management managing multiple projects and teams in a global environment.
• Demonstratable experience coordinating across multiple projects, managing and coordinating TPM.
• Software Product and SaaS experience is a real plus.
• Project Management Certification or equivalent experience.
• Demonstratable experience of applying Lean and Agile approaches in product delivery projects.
• Experience with Onshore-Offshore projects.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional or horizontally aligned teams.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Aha! And other product and project management tools a plus.
• Demonstrated experience of driving transformation within a Product R&D organization.

Required Skills
