The Technical Sales Support role plays a crucial part in providing internal technical support by answering technical questions on RFP and other technical questionnaires. Additionally, this position is responsible for creating accurate technology responses approved by the company for reuse across the organization. Additionally, part of the role will involve supporting the development and operation of the AI based bid response system, Loopio, including testing, contribution to, and creation of, data libraries, and operational processes. Responsibilities Collaborate with sales, account managers, and renewal teams to support the revenue division by handling client questionnaires such as RFP, RFX, and Information Security. Focus on identifying and enhancing the capability of our AI Bid response tools to consistently provide accurate responses on the first attempt. Help to maintain the technical knowledge store and libraries, identify gaps, ensure that information is reviewed and up to date Be a Technology Interpreter , Translate technical questions, themes and concepts into a language non-technical team members can understand, act as a conduit for other technical teams in the process Own and maintain technical documentation that is used as part of the sales process and internal resource library Skills and Experience Comprehensive knowledge of networking principles, hosting, and cloud service providers like AWS and Azure Broad understanding of Cyber Operations Principles Broad understanding of Risk and Compliance A generalist s view of the following technical principles - Different architecture models, APIs, Authentication methods (SAML2, SSO etc), Impact of AI on the Risk and Compliance aspects of SaaS products Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts Eager to learn Analytical skills understanding the true intention behind the question being asked Excellent time management and prioritization to manage conflicting deadlines Strong Interpersonal and communication skills Strong organization skills Proven ability to work with all levels within a business Skilled in collaboration and a strong team player Excellent communicator, able to support sales teams on client facing calls Desirable Previous experience working within a technical presales role / technical bid response role Previous use or management of a AI Bid response tool Familiarity with proposals and tenders Good knowledge of AI technologies and their application Familiarity with highly regulated industries Familiarity with similar products (eQMS, Risk/Audit etc) Understanding of ISO27001 principles MCSE or similar certification About Ideagen Ideagen is the invisible force behind many things we rely on every day - from keeping airplanes soaring in the sky, to ensuring the food on our tables is safe, to helping doctors and nurses care for the sick.
