Job Description

As a Sales Manager at Siemens, you will be responsible for managing various sales activities related to Numerical relays, MV Primary/Secondary distribution systems, and retrofit business in both Utilities and Industries in alignment with the business plan. Your key responsibilities will include timely preparation and submission of bids and proposals for all inquiries from PBs, Utility/Industry/EPC/Channel, as well as sales of MV & Energy Automation Products through different channels such as channel partners, system houses, panel builders, and direct customers. You will be expected to plan customer visits, maintain interactions with all customer segments, and conduct spec-in activities in the region. Your role will involve identifying new customers for conversion to Siemens for business purposes while also maximizing market share. The position requires extensive travel, so the ideal candidate should be willing and prepared to travel as needed. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying new channels, appointment, and development, as well as supporting them for the promotion of business. You will also be required to interact with Siemens HQ in Germany and the local execution team to ensure timely execution of orders during pre and post-sales activities. Conducting competitor product analysis, preparing comparative charts, and defining price strategies will also be part of your responsibilities. As a Sales Manager, you will be expected to prepare and implement action plans to achieve sales targets, as well as provide yearly and monthly forecasting for regional MV & Automation product business. Furthermore, you will be involved in sales promotion and presentations to customers to showcase Siemens" offerings and solutions.
