Description
As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to design, develop and deploy solutions for an array of technologies. You will work with a collaborative team leading, mentoring and ensuring development efforts are well documented and delivered with quality.
A Senior Technical Consultant a highly experienced field professional, who combines a breadth of knowledge across open-source and cloud technologies with a proven track record of delivery. They are expected to lead engagements and exhibit a high degree of commercial awareness along with mature communication skills. TheSenior Technical Consultant is a highly experienced in designing, developing and deploying integration solutions with external third party tools. You will work with customer service owners, process owners and various service delivery groups and participate in customer engagements, demonstrations and meetings in a professional and courteous manner
Roles and Responsibilities Participate on project teams to deploy solutions across open-source and cloud technologies.Ability to architect open-source and cloud related technology solutions involving such challenges as storage, messaging, streaming, analysis, scalability, development operations and securityParticipate in pre-sales cycle as technical expert including assisting Sales, System Engineers and Professional Services teams to drive open-source and cloud technologies adoption andmaturationProvide thought leadership to Ahead and our customersLead customer requirements and design to achieve customers business goalsCommunicate with customers, which may include top management, on matters that require explanation, interpretation, and / or advisingLead a team of technical delivery resourcesLead development and testing activitiesLead in the architecture and design of complex solutionsLead the creation of written deliverablesLead client demos and working sessionsLead integration design sessions and deploymentParticipate as technical expert in client workshopsInfluence direct team members and external customers regarding policies, best practices and proceduresAchieve high team standards. Contributes to the refinement of methodology and best practices to establish quality and effectivenessUnderstands performance, scaling and functional characteristics of software technologiesMentor junior staff and support project leadershipObtain and maintain certifications with associated qualifications
Qualifications Customer facing role for min. of 5+ years5+ years designing, securing and deploying large-scale applications and solutionsExperience with one of the major cloud vendor environments (development, access, migration)5+ years' experience in DotNet core and ReactEffectively communicate with, and present to all levels of the organizationSubject matter expert in at least one open-source and cloud technology.Architect level development skills in Dotnet. Architect level development skills in at least one messaging protocol (ex. Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, etc.)Strong skills integrating third party tools and solutionsStrong project and situational awarenessStrong attention to detailSelf-starter
