Senior System Administrator

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing operating systems (Windows and Linux), ensuring IT security, and overseeing user management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience in Office 365 administration, IT inventory management, networking basics, and security policies.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting of hardware and software issues across all devices.

Manage and support Windows and Linux environments, including user access and system configurations.

Oversee IT infrastructure management including servers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.

Ensure security management by implementing and monitoring firewalls, policies, and data protection measures against cyber threats and attacks.

Administer and maintain Office 365 services and related applications.

Maintain accurate IT inventory records including users, laptops, desktops, peripherals (mouse, keyboards, headphones), LAN cables, and other stock items.

Provide networking support, including mapping, monitoring connections, and identifying usage across the network.

Manage and implement user management systems including access rights, roles, and permissions.

Regularly update and apply IT policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth IT operations and provide support when required.

Requirements:
Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in system administration or a similar senior IT role.

Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux environments.

Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, and IT infrastructure management.

Experience with Office 365 administration and user support.

Familiarity with networking basics such as mapping, connections, and monitoring usage.

Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking issues.

Strong understanding of security policies, data protection, and cyber threat management.

Experience in IT inventory management and reporting.

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

B.Sc., M.Sc. (IT), or B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.

Experience in policy creation and IT security audits.

Ability to work independently and lead junior team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
