Senior Supply Chain Management Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Source sewing and packing accessories for garment production and ensure timely, cost-effective procurement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business units to deliver sourcing solutions across multiple categories.
• Analyze market trends, business demand, and supply to achieve optimal cost and lead time.
• Strategically assess and develop reliable vendors to guarantee uninterrupted raw material supply.
• Demonstrate leadership, motivate teams, and coach for high-performing sourcing capabilities.
• Oversee the Procure-to-Pay process and set requirements to support textile manufacturing.
• Continually improve sourcing systems for business efficiency and future-readiness.
• Analyze vendor capacity, perform risk management, and ensure compliance with supplier performance targets.
• Monitor and forecast demand, track price movements, and adapt procurement strategy accordingly.
• Negotiate, draft, and maintain supplier and service provider agreements and contracts.
• Support management teams with relevant data analysis and clear, concise reports.
• Manage supplier evaluations, audits, and coordinate with Quality and Production teams.
• Ensure ethical purchasing in line with company code of conduct.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 15 to 18 years of material management experience, including sourcing & purchasing in renowned garment brands or manufacturing facilities.
• Deep knowledge of textile/apparel manufacturing and outsourcing.
• Strong hands-on experience with trims sourcing for the garment industry.
• Proficient in SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Expert in quality system methodologies (8D, Lean, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, PPAP, APQP, Poka-Yoke, Measurement System Analysis).
• Project Management and Supply Chain Certifications are a plus.
• Costing, negotiation, decision-making, and advanced people management skills required.
