Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Execute purchase orders for raw materials and transformer components as per production requirements.
Coordinate with approved suppliers/vendors for timely procurement and deliveries.
Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and assist in price negotiations.
Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply issues.
Maintain optimum inventory levels to support uninterrupted production.
Ensure all purchased materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with production, stores, and quality teams for material planning and usage.
Maintain purchase records, vendor data, and documentation as per company policy.
Assist in vendor evaluation and development under guidance of the Purchase Manager.
Prepare and update procurement MIS reports.
