We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Supervisor to join our team at our state-of-the-art Bhiwandi warehouse. Job Summary: The Senior Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, dispatch, and inventory management of goods. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, capable of motivating and managing a team to achieve operational excellence and meet performance targets. Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight: Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including inbound (receiving, put-away) and outbound (picking, packing, dispatch) operations. Ensure accurate and timely processing of all shipments. Monitor and maintain high standards of warehouse hygiene, safety, and security. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates and junior supervisors. Allocate tasks and manage work schedules to optimize productivity. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counting and discrepancy resolution. Ensure accuracy of inventory records and minimize stock losses. Implement best practices for efficient space utilization. Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant quality standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems to management when necessary. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and effectiveness. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, including KPIs, productivity, and inventory accuracy. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Solid understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
