Senior Supervisor

Location: Laal Kuan , Ghaziabad Department: Operations / Production Reports to: Plant Head / General Manager / Director of Operations

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure production, quality, safety, and cost goals are met. This role includes managing staff, improving processes, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Management:

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing operations.

• Monitor production schedules, output, and resource utilization.

• Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining high quality.

• Team Leadership:

• Manage, train, and develop production supervisors and staff.

• Promote a safe, efficient, and motivating work environment.

• Conduct performance evaluations and enforce company policies.

• Process Improvement:

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement practices.

• Analyze data and production metrics to identify areas of improvement.

• Optimize workflows to reduce waste and increase productivity.

• Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.

• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Coordinate with quality assurance teams on inspections and audits.

• Resource & Inventory Management:

• Manage materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.

• Coordinate with supply chain/logistics for timely material availability.

• Control costs and minimize downtime.

• Reporting & Coordination:

• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.

• Liaise with other departments like engineering, quality, HR, and finance.

• Participate in strategic planning and budgeting activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering; MBA is a plus.

• 4-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and plant operations.

• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
