Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (MSSQL SME) – 3+ Years Experience Company Overview Pradha Solutions, a leading IT services provider, empowers businesses with cutting-edge technology solutions. Role Overview We seek a Microsoft SQL Server SME (3+ years) to lead database administration, optimization, and high-availability strategies in mission-critical environments. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring deep expertise in MSSQL performance tuning, security, and automation . Key Responsibilities Configure and manage Always-On Availability Groups and Listeners Implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions in both on-prem and Azure environments Maintain and optimize performance through query tuning , index optimization , and statistics updates Plan and execute backup and restore strategies aligned with business RPO/RTO Set up and manage log shipping , database mirroring , and replication Monitor database health using tools and DMVs , Extended Events , or third-party solutions Automate routine maintenance and administration tasks using T-SQL and PowerShell Ensure database security by managing users, roles, and permissions Troubleshoot and resolve deadlocks , blocking , and slow-running queries Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams on database design and deployments Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2016 and above Proven experience with Always-On , log shipping , and mirroring Deep understanding of query execution plans and performance tuning Experience with HA/DR in Azure SQL (PaaS and IaaS) Proficiency in T-SQL scripting , SQL Agent Jobs , and PowerShell Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools l Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Show more Show less
