Senior Software Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly experienced Senior Software Tester to join our QA team.

Job Responsibilities (Manual Testing)

l Requirement Analysis

Review user stories, business requirements, and design documents to ensure test coverage.

l Test Planning & Strategy

Create detailed test plans, define testing scope, identify test data needs, and set entry/exit criteria.

l Test Case Design & Execution

Write clear and reusable manual test cases, execute them across web, mobile, or desktop apps.

l Defect Management

Log defects with precise reproduction steps, severity/priority, and collaborate with developers for fixes.

l Regression & Exploratory Testing

Ensure new changes don’t break existing features, perform ad-hoc testing to uncover hidden issues.

l API Testing Manual

Familiarity with Postman, fiddler for API validation.

l Mentorship & Review

Guide junior testers, review their test cases, and ensure quality standards in QA deliverables.

Good-to-Have Skills (Automation)

l Basic Scripting Knowledge

l Ability to write and maintain automation scripts (e.g., in Java, Python, or JavaScript).

l Test Automation Tools

l Exposure to tools like Selenium, Playwright.

Key Skills & Competencies:

l Should have 5-6 years of working experience as a software tester.

l Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

l Expertise in functional, regression, smoke, load testing, performance testing and UAT testing.

l Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Redmine, Azure DevOps).

l Good communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.

l Analytical mindset to think like an end-user.
