Senior Software Tester

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. Additionally, you will write and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing. Collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria is also a key aspect of your role. Moreover, you will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution, debug, analyze, and report defects, and ensure product performance, reliability, and scalability through automated and manual testing practices. It is essential to stay updated with new tools, frameworks, and best practices in testing and automation. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. - Write and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Perform manual testing to validate new features and ensure overall product stability. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution. - Debug, analyze, and report defects with clear documentation and reproducible steps. - Ensure product performance, reliability, and scalability through automated and manual testing practices. - Stay updated with new tools, frameworks, and best practices in testing and automation. Qualification Required: - 1+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. - Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. - Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest. - Experience in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.). - Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts: test planning, bug lifecycle, regression, UAT, and exploratory testing. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). - Proficiency in version control systems (Git preferred). - Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
