Senior Software Tester

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Tester in the telecom industry, you will be responsible for leading testing efforts across various telecom projects, including CRM, Billing, Charging, Mediation, Provisioning, and Interconnect systems. Your expertise in both manual and automation testing will be crucial in ensuring the quality of telecom services such as mobile (prepaid/postpaid), fixed line, broadband, and digital services. Key Responsibilities: - Lead testing activities for multiple telecom projects. - Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for manual and automated testing. - Validate complex telecom services like voice, SMS, data, roaming, billing, CRM, charging, interconnect, digital services, and fixed line services. - Perform API, integration, and end-to-end testing in multi-system telecom environments. - Conduct database validation and SQL checks for billing and charging data. - Oversee UAT with business teams to ensure business acceptance. - Develop and maintain automation scripts for regression, sanity, and performance testing. - Track defects, provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and collaborate with vendors/developers for resolution. - Mentor junior testers and maintain consistency in test execution and reporting. Qualification Required: - 7+ years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 4 years in the telecom domain. - Strong knowledge of CRM, Billing, Charging, Mediation, Provisioning, IN, and Interconnect systems. - Experience with manual and automation testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, SOAP UI, or similar. - Strong SQL/database validation skills. - Proficiency in API, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Experience in test strategy, effort estimation, test planning, and UAT coordination. - Familiarity with regulatory compliance and revenue assurance testing.
