Senior Software Tester

About the Role

We're seeking a Software Quality Analyst who goes beyond checking boxes. This isn't about following test scripts blindly—it's about understanding our product deeply, thinking critically about business impact, and using logic to uncover issues that others might miss.

What You'll Do

• Think Like a User and a Businessperson: Understand not just what the software does, but why it matters to customers and business goals
• Test with Purpose: Design test strategies based on business risk and user impact, not just feature checklists
• Be a Product Expert: Develop deep knowledge of our product, understanding how features interconnect and affect the user journey
• Question Everything: Challenge assumptions, identify edge cases, and discover critical issues before users do
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with product managers and developers to understand requirements and business context
• Advocate for Quality: Ask tough questions and push for quality standards that match business needs

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of software testing experience
• Strong analytical and logical thinking—you connect dots others don't see
• Genuine curiosity about business operations and how software enables business goals
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with manual testing, test automation, and agile methodologies
• Proficiency with testing tools (Jira, Selenium, or similar)
• API testing, database queries, and log analysis experience
• Knowledge of AI-based testing tools and approaches
• Industry domain knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: Remote
