Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of scalable web applications using
PHP
(Core PHP) and
Laravel
.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and stakeholders.
Set timelines, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Manage server environments, particularly
Ubuntu
and
Apache
, for application hosting.
Execute server-side tasks using
Linux commands
and perform routine server maintenance.
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on
AWS
(including
EC2
,
NoSQL databases
, and
SQS queues
).
Implement and maintain
version control
using
Git
and enforce code management best practices.
Lead the
troubleshooting
process to resolve bugs and production issues.
Review code for quality assurance and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience in
PHP development
, including
Core PHP
and
Laravel
.
Strong understanding of
Linux-based systems
, especially
Ubuntu
and
Apache web server
configuration.
Proficient in
Linux command-line
tools for system management and deployment tasks.
Experience with
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
, especially
EC2
,
NoSQL databases
(like DynamoDB or MongoDB), and
SQS
.
Solid grasp of
version control
systems, particularly
Git
, GitHub/GitLab workflows.
Demonstrated ability in
troubleshooting
, debugging, and performance optimization.
Proven track record of
project management

team leadership
in a software development environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines.

Nice to Have:

Certification in AWS or Project Management (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.)
Experience with Docker or other containerization tools.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
