Role Overview

We are looking for a

Senior Software Engineer – Java

to lead the design and development of complex integrations across the platform.This role focuses on architecting scalable connector frameworks, working with a wide range of external systems, and ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance data exchange. It is well suited for engineers who enjoy solving real-world integration challenges and want to influence the evolution of a core product platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance integrations with third-party APIs, enterprise systems, and cloud platforms
• Handle API variability including schema differences, authentication models, pagination, throttling, and rate limits
• Implement and optimize authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML
• Architect reusable connector components and improve internal integration frameworks for scalability and maintainability
• Lead design discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, and maintain high code quality standards
• Debug complex integration issues and deliver robust, production-ready solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and promote strong engineering best practices
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for integrations, frameworks, and system behavior
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5–10 years of professional experience in Java backend development
• Strong expertise in REST API design, consumption, and JSON processing
• Proven experience building and maintaining integrations with external APIs or enterprise systems
• Solid understanding of identity and authentication standards including OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with asynchronous processing, event-driven architectures, or microservices
  

Nice to Have

• Experience building SDKs, connector frameworks, or integration platforms
• Exposure to enterprise ecosystems such as CRM, ERP, workflow automation, identity providers, or analytics systems
• Familiarity with Quarkus or other modern microservice frameworks (excluding Spring Boot)
• Knowledge of API versioning strategies, contract testing, or automated integration testing
• Prior experience in fast-paced startup or product-led environments
