Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using

    Python and Java

    .
  • Architect and implement blockchain-based applications and smart contracts.
  • Collaborate with AI and product teams to integrate advanced technologies into the Emireq ecosystem.
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
  • Contribute to the technical roadmap and play an active role in shaping Emireq’s core technology stack.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in

    Python and Java

    (backend systems, APIs, microservices).
  • Hands-on knowledge of

    blockchain technologies

    (Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar).
  • Experience with

    databases

    (SQL & NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with

    cloud platforms

    (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of

    DevOps tools

    (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results in a part-time role (5–6 hours/day).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in

    fintech or ethical/Shariah-compliant finance systems

  • Exposure to

    AI/ML frameworks

    and data-driven platforms.
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
