Job Description – Senior Social Media Executive

Position: Senior Social Media Executive Location: Aerocity Department: Marketing / Digital Media Reports To: Marketing Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and data-driven Senior Social Media Executive to lead, plan, and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital trends, brand communication, and audience engagement, with hands-on experience in content creation, campaign management, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative social media strategies to strengthen brand presence and engagement.
  • Plan, create, and manage content (posts, reels, stories, campaigns) across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and YouTube.
  • Lead creative brainstorming for campaigns, seasonal posts, and trend-driven content.
  • Collaborate with the design, content, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools; optimize strategies for maximum ROI.
  • Engage with the online community by responding to comments, DMs, and brand mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms.
  • Manage paid campaigns, boost content, and oversee ad performance where required.
  • Supervise junior team members/interns (if applicable) and guide them in content planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Strong copywriting, content creation, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns and performance marketing is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics).
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design, aesthetics, and detail.
  • Ability to multitask, work under deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced environments.
