Job Summary:

 As a Services Engineer for Machine Maintenance at Veloces Engineering and Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our machinery used in the tyre manufacturing process. You will play a crucial role in performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Provide technical support and training to operators on equipment utilization and best practices.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology related to tyre manufacturing machinery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in machine maintenance, preferably in the tyre or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to different sites as required.
