Role Summary

We’re a UK-based agency seeking a Senior SEO Lead with a track record of growing websites across multiple niches. You’ll own strategy end-to-end—technical, content, and authority—while leveraging AI models/workflows to scale research, briefs, and QA. Start remote; transition to our Gurgaon office as we grow.

Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy & Roadmap Build quarterly roadmaps per client covering technical, on-page, and off-page priorities aligned to commercial goals.

• Technical SEO Lead audits (crawl/indexation, site architecture, internal linking, CWV/LCP/INP, hreflang), fix index coverage, manage migrations and redirects.

• Content & AI-assisted Workflows Own topic maps, entity/semantic SEO, and programmatic pages. Use AI (e.g., LLMs) for research, outline generation, and scale—while enforcing human editorial quality and E-E-A-T.

• On-page Optimisation Briefs for titles/meta, headers, internal links, schema markup, rich results; collaborate with copy/design to ship high-quality pages.

• Authority & Digital PR Plan white-hat link acquisition, partnerships, and brand-building initiatives; track referring domain quality.

• Analytics & Experimentation Define KPIs, build Looker Studio dashboards, run A/Bs where applicable (titles/snippets/layout), and report clear actions & impact monthly.

• Cross-functional Leadership Work with developers, designers, copywriters, and video to ship improvements quickly. Mentor junior team members as we scale.

Requirements

Must-haves

• 5–8+ years in SEO with proven growth case studies (traffic, non-brand clicks, and conversions).

• Deep technical SEO (JS SEO, crawl budget, CWV, log analysis basics) and strong content strategy chops.

• Hands-on experience using or guiding AI/LLM tools in SEO workflows (keyword clustering, outline/brief generation, content QA, internal link suggestions).

• Excellent communication; able to turn data into decisive recommendations.

Nice-to-haves

• Programmatic SEO at scale (templates, parameterized pages).

• Basic Python/SQL for data wrangling; familiarity with vector search/RAG concepts.

• Experience with site migrations (replatforming, domain and structure changes).

• Local SEO and multi-region/multi-language (hreflang) experience.

Tools

Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog/Sitebulb, PageSpeed Insights/Lighthouse, Looker Studio; Jira/Asana/Notion; basic Git workflows a plus; AI tooling (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude, keyword clustering tools), schema generators.

KPIs (per client; calibrated to baseline)

• Non-brand organic clicks & qualified organic sessions

• Leads/revenue from organic (or proxy goals)

• Share of Voice across priority topics

• Topical rankings (page-1 coverage, avg. position)

• CWV pass rate (LCP/CLS/INP) & index coverage

• Link acquisition quality (DR/traffic relevance)

• Time-to-ship for roadmap items

Working Arrangement

• Start fully remote from India; move to on-site in Gurgaon as we expand the team and office operations.

• Regular standups and reviews; collaborate closely with UK leadership and India-based creators.
