Must-Have Technical Skills (Expert Level)

This role is critical for driving modern SAP transformation and requires deep, practical experience in the following:

• SAP S/4HANA Experience:

  6-8 years MUST be focused on SAP S/4HANA

  development, within a total experience range of 12-18 years.

• S/4HANA Transformation:

  Completion of

  at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP supply chain transformation projects.

• Clean Core Architecture:

  Expert understanding and practical application of the

  Clean Core Concept

  (Tier 1/2/3 development principles).

• Modern ABAP & Data Modeling:

• Expertise in

  Core Data Services (CDS)

  , including notations and practical application.
• Proficiency in

  ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  Code Push Down techniques

  and

  performance improvement

  methods (e.g., Parallel Processing).

• API & Integration:

• Hands-on experience with

  SAP API techniques

  , including implementation and testing.
• Expertise in

  SAP RESTful API and OData services

  , and various methods for their construction.
• Experience with

  BTP (Integration Suite)

  based interface development and troubleshooting.

• Deployment Environment:

  Clear understanding and working knowledge of the

  SAP RISE

  concept.

• UI/UX:

  Experience with

  SAP Fiori

  , enhancements in SAP Fiori, and

  SAP UI5

  based interface development/troubleshooting.

• Functional Knowledge:

  Strong functional knowledge of SAP ECC/S/4HANA tables, including changes between versions, relevant to

  Finance (AP) and Materials Management/Supply Chain (MM, WM, Inventory).

Required & Preferred Technical Skills

Required Skills:

• Development Tools:

  Experience with SAP BRF+, SAP Cloud BADI, Classic ABAP coding techniques, SAPscript, Smartforms, and Adobe Forms.

• Customization:

  Experience developing RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and EDI/IDoc.

Preferred Skills:

• Integration:

  Hands-on experience integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using tools like SAP Process Orchestration (PO) or

  SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

• Data Tools:

  Experience with

  SLT

  (SAP Landscape Transformation).

• Process Automation:

  Experience with SAP Flexible Workflow.

• Business Acumen:

  Demonstrated ability to assess current state, identify customer requirements, and map business needs to standard SAP processes with minimal customization.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Experience: 12 - 18 years of total SAP ABAP experience.

• Education:

  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.

• Soft Skills:

  Excellent verbal and written communication, and proven ability to interact and collaborate effectively across all levels of business and IT teams (Security, Operations, PMO, Testing).
