Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Hotel Sales Manager to oversee sales initiatives for our portfolio of hotels and motels across the United States, including G6 Hospitality properties. The ideal candidate will focus on driving revenue through corporate sales, group sales, leisure bookings, and long-term partnerships.


This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with each property’s General Manager through phone and email to ensure cohesive sales strategies and property-level execution.


Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and manage sales strategies to increase occupancy and revenue across multiple properties.
  • Identify, pursue, and close business opportunities from:
  • Corporate clients
  • Group bookings
  • Travel agencies
  • Event planners
  • Long-term stay accounts
  • Manage relationships with OTA partners (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.) to optimize visibility and pricing.


Account Management

  • Maintain ongoing communication and relationships with existing clients.
  • Negotiate rates, contracts, and long-term agreements.
  • Track and analyze sales performance to meet monthly and quarterly targets.


Collaboration with Hotel General Managers

  • Work directly with each hotel’s 

    General Manager via phone and email

     to:
  • Coordinate sales activities and promotions
  • Support property-level execution of sales strategies
  • Provide GMs with leads, guidance, and tools to convert local business
  • Align on pricing decisions, group availability, and rate plans
  • Ensure accurate reporting of sales activities and business outcomes


Marketing & Promotion

  • Assist with developing promotional packages, advertising campaigns, and targeted outreach.
  • Work with corporate leadership to maintain consistent branding and messaging.


Operational Support

  • Keep track of competitor activity and market trends.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Represent the hotel portfolio at trade shows, local business events, and networking opportunities (as needed).


Qualifications

  • 4–5+ years of sales experience in the hotel or hospitality industry (If USA Motels/G6 experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of corporate, group, and leisure sales.
  • Excellent communication skills (phone, email, and written).
  • Ability to collaborate with General Managers and support property-level operations.
  • Knowledge of revenue management principles and online distribution channels.
  • Organized, proactive, and results driven.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience using hotel PMS/CRS systems (Opera, Choice Advantage, SynXis, etc.)
  • Familiarity with lead generation tools and CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties at once
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
