Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Restaurants/Bars and Room Service (if applicable). Your main duties will include supervising restaurant operations, assisting with menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting servers and hosts during peak meal periods. Your goal will be to enhance guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance. You will also be in charge of determining training needs and implementing training plans to achieve the set goals. Your qualifications should include a high school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of experience in the food and beverage or culinary industry. Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited university along with 2 years of relevant experience would be acceptable. Your core work activities will involve: - Supervising and managing employees, overseeing day-to-day operations, and maintaining service and sanitation standards. - Leading the Food and Beverage Team by demonstrating leadership skills, building trust and cooperation, coaching and mentoring team members, and ensuring productivity levels are maintained. - Ensuring exceptional customer service by going above and beyond to meet customer needs, managing day-to-day operations to meet customer expectations, and handling guest problems and complaints effectively. - Managing and conducting human resource activities by providing guidance to subordinates, identifying educational needs, ensuring fair treatment of employees, and improving service performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing information to supervisors and subordinates, analyzing information to solve problems effectively, assisting servers and hosts during peak times, recognizing quality products and presentations, and supervising daily shift operations in the absence of the Assistant Restaurant Manager.
