As a Senior React Developer, you’ll bring Crop.photo’s AI-powered visual consistency platform to life. Working with a small but mighty agile team, you’ll turn sleek Figma designs into React components that feel like magic. Imagine building intuitive, super-performant interfaces that make Gen AI-driven image, animated, and video banner creation at scale a breeze. Your mastery of HTML Canvas and advanced React wizardry will help us deliver buttery-smooth, real-time image manipulation tools that creatives will adore.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance React components from Figma designs
- Lead development of complex HTML Canvas-based banner editing features
- Build and maintain a scalable component library that powers our core product
- Establish front-end architecture decisions and development standards
- Drive implementation of N Figma mocks within 45-day MVP timeline
- Mentor and manage a team of 2-4 front-end developers
- Create comprehensive unit tests using JEST framework
- Collaborate with UX and backend teams to ensure seamless integration
- Own front-end release planning, roadmap creation, and backlog management
- Implement state-of-the-art image processing capabilities using Canvas APIs
📋 Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of front-end development experience with proven leadership abilities
- Expert-level proficiency in HTML Canvas API, WebGL, and browser rendering optimization
- Deep understanding of Canvas performance optimization and memory management
- Advanced knowledge of React.js (3+ years) including hooks, context, and performance optimization
- Strong command of TypeScript (2+ years) and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Extensive experience with CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive design principles
- Proven track record writing unit tests with JEST, Mocha, Cypress, or Storybook
- Experience with Git workflows and VS Code development environments
- Good understanding of Node.js and full-stack architecture
- Demonstrated ability to manage small front-end teams (2-4 people)
- Experience with agile development and sprint planning
