Senior Quality Engineer

📌

Core Responsibilities

🔹 Technical
  • ✅ Lead QA automation and testing activities throughout the SDLC.
  • ✅ Develop & execute

    test strategies, test plans, and automation scripts

    .
  • ✅ Review

    requirements & design documents

    to ensure complete test coverage.
  • ✅ Perform

    manual & automated testing

    for

    web, mobile, and backend systems

    .
  • ✅ Execute

    performance, regression, integration, and system tests

    .
  • ✅ Document, track, and resolve defects using

    Jira / TFS

    .
  • ✅ Provide

    quality reports, metrics, and insights

    to stakeholders.
  • ✅ Recommend & implement

    process improvements

    using industry best practices.
🔹 Administrative
  • 📂 Maintain a

    test case repository

    & documentation library.
  • 📊 Track quality metrics (

    defect density, open defect counts, release readiness

    ).
  • 🔍 Research & recommend

    emerging tools, technologies, and frameworks

    .
  • 🏆 Ensure compliance with

    ISO9001 quality standards

    .
🔹 Support & Collaboration
  • 🤝 Mentor & guide QA analysts and developers on

    automation best practices

    .
  • 🔗 Collaborate with

    developers, product managers, and infra teams

    to resolve issues.
  • 🌍 Support

    cross-departmental initiatives & client interactions

    when needed.
🔹 Training
  • 📘 Coach teams on

    QA methodologies, automation tools, and strategies

    .
  • 🔄 Stay updated with

    emerging QA trends, tools, and industry standards

    .

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years in

    QA & Test Automation

    .
  • Strong hands-on with:
  • ⚡

    Automation Tools:

    Selenium, TestNG Framework
  • 💻

    Programming Language:

    Java
  • 🛠️

    Test Management Tools:

    TFS, Jira, MS Test Manager
  • Solid experience with

    manual & automation testing

    across

    web apps, mobile, and APIs

    .
  • Working knowledge of

    Agile methodologies (Scrum, iterative testing)

    .
  • Expertise in

    QA techniques

    (Boundary Value, Equivalence Class, Black-box, White-box).
  • Experience with

    ISO9001 standards

    .
  • Strong

    problem-solving, analytical, and debugging

    skills.
  • Excellent

    communication & documentation

    abilities.
  • Highly

    self-motivated

    with strong

    attention to detail

    .
