Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title: Senior QA - SDET (Remote) Location: Remote Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior SDET to join our QA team and drive automation testing efforts across our cloud-based platform. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks, contribute to performance testing strategies, and collaborate closely with developers and QA engineers to ensure product quality from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test suites. Enhance existing automation frameworks for scalability and performance. Integrate automation testing with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage across the SDLC. Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust . Analyze test results, report issues, and drive root cause analysis and resolution. Write clean, maintainable test scripts using Python and Robot Framework . Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured . Document test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure transparency and repeatability. Stay current with emerging trends in testing, automation, and cloud technologies. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in automation and performance testing . Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework and scripting in Python . Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust . Proficiency in testing cloud-based applications , preferably on AWS . Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration. Familiarity with agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle. Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or REST Assured . Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently in a fully remote team environment. Passion for quality, automation, and continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications: Experience contributing to or building custom test automation frameworks. Exposure to infrastructure-as-code or container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
