Role Overview

We are looking for a Automation Engineer with strong skills in Java and Appium, a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, and a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable testing solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring our mobile applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Requirements

• 
  Automation Development:
  Design, develop, and maintain reusable and maintainable test scripts using Java and Appium.
• Framework Architecture:
  Create and scale mobile automation frameworks that support end-to-end testing processes.
• Environment Configuration:
  Set up and manage test environments, including cloud-based and local device farms.
• CI/CD Integration:
  Independently design and implement CI/CD pipeline scripts to support seamless automation integration.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting:
  Use tools such as ADB and proxy tools to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
• Cross-Platform Testing Exposure:
  Gain exposure to UI and API automation frameworks to support wider test coverage.
• Test Strategy & Methodology:
  Define and execute test strategies using principles like the Test Pyramid and industry best practices.
• Tool Utilization:
  Track and manage test cases and defects using tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
• Team Collaboration:
  Operate independently or within Agile teams to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  Qualifications & Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java and Appium
  
• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming
  
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines
  
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms
  
• Experience with ADB, Charles Proxy, or similar tools
  
• Understanding of UI and API testing processes
  
• Knowledge of test design strategies and QA best practices
  
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA)
  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
