In the role of leading and managing procurement and supply chain operations, your responsibilities include: - Developing and implementing procurement strategies in line with production and quality objectives. - Cultivating long-term relationships with reliable suppliers and evaluating their performance. - Coordinating with production and warehouse teams to forecast material needs and monitor inventory levels. - Managing inbound and outbound logistics for raw materials and finished goods. - Monitoring purchase budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations. - Collaborating across functions to source suitable materials/vendors and evaluate suppliers for raw materials used in sports goods manufacturing. To excel in this role, you should possess: - A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5-10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. - Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor development, and ERP systems. - Understanding of production planning and material requirement planning (MRP). - Excellent negotiation and communication skills, along with leadership and team management abilities. - The capability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
