About Us:
Hotel Delicia is a renowned name in Malappuram, known for authentic flavors, exceptional hospitality, and professional catering services. With multiple restaurants and a growing catering division, we are looking for a highly organized and resourceful Central Purchase Manager to oversee and streamline all purchasing functions.

Job Summary:
The Central Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement of all food, beverages, kitchen equipment, and other supplies for two restaurants and our catering operations. This role demands strong negotiation skills, vendor management expertise, and the ability to ensure cost-effective and timely purchases while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies for restaurants and catering services.
  • Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate prices, credit terms, and contracts to ensure cost savings and quality consistency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of all goods.
  • Coordinate with chefs, restaurant managers, and catering teams to forecast demand and purchase accordingly.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of purchases, deliveries, and contracts.
  • Regularly review supplier performance and resolve any issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in purchasing/procurement, preferably in hospitality or F&B industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related field (preferred).
