Senior Purchasing Manager

You will be a part of Light Tree Ventures, a company specializing in Research, Development, and Manufacturing of LED Light Therapy products for beauty and health. With offices in the Netherlands, China, the US, and India, our headquarters is located in Rijswijk. Our diverse team of professionals is dedicated to creating innovative and well-designed products for the LED Light therapy markets worldwide. As a Purchasing Manager, your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies and policies. - Managing end-to-end purchasing operations, including vendor selection, price negotiation, and order management. - Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting procurement needs based on production and sales planning. - Identifying and evaluating suppliers, conducting market research, and maintaining supplier relationships. - Ensuring timely procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services. - Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms. - Establishing and monitoring KPIs to track purchasing performance and cost savings. - Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. - Collaborating with finance, production, logistics, and quality departments for a smooth workflow. - Resolving supplier issues, delivery delays, and non-conformance cases. - Preparing monthly reports on purchasing trends, costs, and supplier performance. Your skillset should include: - A Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or business administration related study. - At least 5 years of experience as a project manager. - Good Communication Skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
