Role Description This is a full-time position for a Senior Procutment Manager, based in the Greater Hyderabad Area, with flexibility for some remote work. Must have experience in manufacturing sector. Experience with dealing with vendors in plastic & metal industries. Must have strong knowledge of local Hyderabad manufacturing hubs like Balanagar, Jeedimetla etc to identify apt vendors Main Job, duties & responsibilities Establish and implement purchasing policies, procedures and best practices Identify and source new suppliers and vendors Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors & ensure timely delivery of all the parts Develop and maintain SOP for the entire function of Purchase Management, Vendor Development and Inventory and Stores Management Develop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements Plan regular ordering schedules with different vendors based on the available inventory and expected sales volumes Carry out quality checks and regular testing of the parts to ensure quality requirements On-site travelling to the vendors location during the time of production to ensure quality and timely delivery of the parts Knowledge of different industrial works, regions and vendors to deliver every requirement from the production team.
