Senior Project Engineer

This is a senior leadership position, responsible for overseeing the entire construction department, managing teams, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and mitigating project delays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
• Oversee Mivan shuttering works (aluminium formwork), ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
• Manage and mentor site engineers, supervisors, and contractors, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progress.
• Monitor project milestones, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Ensure strict compliance with budgets, BOQs, QA/QC, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews, and prepare MIS/reports for management.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Optimize resources (material, manpower, equipment) to achieve maximum efficiency on site.
• Implement best practices in project management and construction technology to improve execution efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.E. / M.Tech preferred).
• 18+ years in construction project management with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in Mivan technology (aluminium formwork) execution and supervision.
• Knowledge of modern construction methodologies, project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
• Strong understanding of contracts, BOQs, budgets, and billing.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple contractors, and drive accountability.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
