Senior Production Manager

As a Shop Floor Manager, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Managing the shop floor efficiently by implementing shop floor management techniques - Planning manpower to ensure smooth operations - Maintaining a balance between trained and untrained employees - Improving First Test Failure (FTF) rates at various production stages - Collecting and analyzing rejection data for continuous improvement - Training new operators and preparing a skill matrix for operators - Ensuring inventory control on the shop floor - Leading by example to maintain a safe and efficient workplace - Achieving company quality standards for internal and external customer satisfaction - Monitoring KPIs and achieving set targets - Providing direction and feedback to team members to enhance performance - Maintaining safe working practices and adherence to "Standard Operations" - Motivating the team to foster a high-performance culture and encourage improvement suggestions - Coordinating with support functions for production planning and resource allocation - Communicating effectively with teams through visual management and shift briefs focusing on quality, cost, and delivery improvement suggestions.
