Senior Production Manager

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations Management

• Plan, manage, and control daily production of polymer and rubber products.
• Oversee operations such as mixing, compounding, extrusion, molding, calendaring, and vulcanization.
• Ensure achievement of production targets in terms of volume, quality, and timelines.
• Optimize production capacity and reduce machine downtime.

Process Improvement & Efficiency

• Implement lean manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma for continuous improvements.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improve cycle times.
• Reduce scrap, material loss, and energy consumption.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management

• Lead production supervisors, shift in-charges, and technical operators.
• Plan manpower deployment and training programs.
• Drive performance management and skill development initiatives.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with ISO and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to maintain consistent product standards.
• Address root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.

Maintenance Coordination

• Work closely with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure machine readiness and optimal plant availability.

Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

• Enforce safety guidelines and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Promote zero-accident culture.

Production Planning & Inventory Control

• Coordinate with PPC and supply chain for raw material planning and production scheduling.
• Optimize inventory levels of polymers and rubber compounds.

Reporting & Strategic Planning

• Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and MIS to senior management.
• Participate in strategic planning and capacity expansion initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Master's / Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer Engineering, Rubber Technology.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in polymer/rubber manufacturing with at least 5 years in a production management role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
