Senior Production Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Senior Production Manager to lead end-to-end factory production operations for our large-scale footwear manufacturing unit. The role involves driving productivity, quality, manpower efficiency, and timely deliveries while ensuring compliance with safety and statutory standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage end-to-end footwear production operations across Cutting, Stitching, Lasting, Finishing, and Packing.• Plan and control daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to achieve output and dispatch targets.• Handle manpower planning, allocation, productivity tracking, and workforce optimization across all departments.• Drive workflow control, line balancing, and factory productivity in a large-scale manufacturing setup.• Ensure strict implementation of quality assurance systems, SOPs, and buyer specifications.• Reduce wastage, rejections, downtime, and idle manpower through strong process controls.• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S for continuous process and efficiency improvement.• Lead cross-functional coordination with Materials, QA, Maintenance, and Design teams.• Manage high-pressure production timelines and urgent order executions with precision.• Develop, guide, and motivate large shop-floor teams including supervisors, line leaders, and operators.• Ensure full compliance with safety norms, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.• Maintain accurate MIS, ERP reporting, production documentation, and management review inputs.

Requirements / Qualifications
• Graduate in Engineering, Production, or Industrial Management; Diploma in Footwear Technology preferred.• 1015 years of hands-on experience in footwear manufacturing at plant/factory level.• Strong exposure to large-scale, listed manufacturing environments.• Proven expertise in manpower handling, workflow control, quality assurance, and factory productivity.• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage high-pressure production timelines.
