Job Description

Senior Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute daily production activities in line with project schedules and delivery timelines
Coordinate with design, planning, stores, and QA/QC teams to ensure smooth workflow
Supervise shop floor operations including
welding, machining, assembly, and fabrication processes
Monitor manpower deployment and optimize utilization of resources
Troubleshoot process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to avoid downtime
Maintain production documentation and ensure compliance with internal and client quality standards
Ensure adherence to safety protocols
,
process discipline
, and
standard operating procedures
Assist in training and mentoring junior engineers and production staff
Provide inputs for continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost control

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma (DME) or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum
6–10 years
of hands-on experience in
fabrication or manufacturing operations
Strong knowledge of welding processes, fabrication drawings, materials
, and
shop floor supervision
Familiarity with ISO/ASME standards
, lean practices, and basic ERP/MRP systems
Good leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
