About The Role

Senior Product Specialist shall be responsible to Design, Execute and Maintain (Safety & other Compliance) the Pyro Product. Engineering Support the Product on Sales/proposals, Aftermarket. Cross functional collaboration with all functions in making product profitable.

About The Department

Pyro & Grinding Department forms the core part of the Cement Business. P&G Engineering provides a Life cycle approach to Pyro Products.

Your Responsibilities

• Specifications for and mechanical design of Pyro, Fuel Flex, Hotdisc, and Similar equipment used in a cement plant for Alternate fuel usage, producing cement clinker, including calculations and documentation.
• Support to proposal department, sales department, and Project Management
• Release of deliverable meeting the defined quality norms while ensuring adherence to contractual / project specific requirements within the defined time frames
• Defining requirements for new design projects together with Green Innovation Team
• Technical assistance to colleagues worldwide, suppliers and plant sites on time, technical discussion with client.
• Work in close collaboration with the Global Chief Engineer & other stake holders
• Design and support state of the art cement plant equipment, prepare necessary documentation covering everything from risk assessments, drawings, specifications, instructions, and design manuals.
• Design and make necessary strength calculations on equipment as well as on machinery parts.
• Prepare/Update design manuals to be used for standard order handling
• Make technical drawings and 3D design work using SolidWorks
• Apply design judgements using the knowledge of Fits, Tolerances, Finish, Manufacturing methods and work shop practices.
• Prepare end user documentation which meets the quality standards of today and end user requirement.
• Assist documenting machinery within our product database
• Deliver the best possible quality – also when deadlines turn tough and it takes serious persistence to get to the goal.
• Ensure project tracking in all stages with accurate data and documentation for future retrieval
• Support to CSD for spare parts sales and retrofit.
• Timely communication to all stakeholders.
  

What You Bring

• Proficient to work in teams as well as independently.
• Good in English at 'negotiation level' both written and orally.
• Proficient in trouble shooting on site with a hands-on approach.
• Expert in documentation which meets the quality standards.
• Skilled/Proficient making 3D models for Products.
• Expert in technical drawings and 3D design work using SolidWorks
• Proficient in doing product layouts in 3D & Autocad
