The products our portfolio include Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure CosmosDB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI. Our mission is to build the data platform for the age of AI, powering a new class of data-first applications and driving a data culture.Within Azure Data, the databases team builds and maintains Microsoft's operational Database systems. We store and manage data in a structured way to enable multitude of applications across various industries. We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational, non-relational and OSS offerings.The Fabric Data Team is hiring a Senior Product Manager who will define and execute the product roadmap of a data platform.We do not just value differences or different perspectives. Responsibilities

  • Customer Feedback and Iteration: Capture, analyze, and prioritize customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings. Develop and refine OKRs, platform feature
enhancements, and functional specifications.
  • Requirement Gathering and Specification: Collect and analyze customer requirements, formulate objectives, and develop detailed specifications for new features and products.
  • Technical Product Management: partner closely with engineering teams to create, update or review data schemas, data models, platform architecture and technical solutions that answer
customer needs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with analytics, engineering and product teams to ensure seamless platform development and launch. Foster strong partnerships with
stakeholders to align on product vision and goals.
  • Process and Documentation: Manage and document product management processes, ensuring clarity and consistency. Maintain comprehensive records of product specifications, user stories, and feedback.
  • Leadership and Influence: Demonstrate leadership by driving a customer-obsessed, growth mindset culture within the team. Lead by example and inspire others to achieve excellence.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management
or software development OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer
and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or
software development OR equivalent experience.
